Morgan, Jr., resolved to tear down his parent’s brownstone on the corner of Madison and Thirty-Sixth Street and erect a building adjacent to his father’s library. In 1988, his mid-nineteenth century brownstone facing Madison Avenue was added to the complex. This is the lovely cafe' which was added in 2006, along with a performance hall, lobby entrance and restaurant along with a gift shop.
