John Cooper Jr. (September 15, 1922 – May 3, 2011) was an American actor and director. Known as Jackie Cooper , he began his career performing in film as a child, and successfully transitioned to adult roles and directing in both film and television.

He died in a Beverly Hills Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born in Los Angeles in 1922 as John Cooper, Jr. As a child, he appeared in the Our Gang television series as "Skippy".
