Marriage Licenses Jackson County Probate Court does not perform wedding ceremonies. Issued Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please complete the Online Marriage Application located on our website. Both applicants must be over the age of 18 and must be present at time of application.

Come into the Jackson County Clerk’s Office to show your current photo identification and pay for the license. After the marriage ceremony is done, return the license to our office so it can be recorded. Fees $55.00 license fee is non-refundable. (No exceptions.) Accepted payment Cash Credit/Debit Cards

Your ceremony MUST be held in Jackson County to apply for a marriage license. Both partners in the marriage need to appear in person at the County Clerk's office. You must apply for the license at least one day ahead of your marriage date. The license is valid for 60 days in Jackson County.
