First-Time Freshman Merit-Based Scholarships. First-Time Freshmen will be considered automatically for merit scholarships upon admission to JSU. Merit scholarships cannot stack with Leadership or JSU Honors Scholarship, but can stack with competitive and talent based scholarships.
