One of the newest jam bands on our list, the String Cheese Incident, released their debut album in 1997. Their music is bluegrass-based with hints of calypso, salsa, Afro-pop, funk, and jazz. Over the years since their creation, the String Cheese Incident has performed in a variety of festivals, from Woodstock ’99 to the Electric Forest Festival.
