Synopsis. Until she was thirteen years old, Monika Hertwig thought her father died fighting for his country in World War II. Then a chance comment led Monika to the horrific truth: her father was the brutal Plaszow concentration camp commandant Amon Goeth, and he was executed for his crimes.
