Fantasy. Harry Potter. James Metcalfe "Jamie" Campbell Bower (born 22 November 1988) is a English actor who portrays teenage Gellert Grindelwald [1] in the film adaptations of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows [2] and reprised his role for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. [3]
He appeared as a young Gellert Grindelwald (the dark wizard defeated by Albus Dumbledore) in the 2010 film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1; he reprised this role in the 2018 film Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. As such, he is one of only two actors to appear in both the Harry Potter and Twilight franchises.
He played Caius in The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009), The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 (2011) and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 (2012); Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010) and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018); Jace Wayland in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013).
