Janina Wójcicka Hoskins (February 19, 1912 – October 19, 1996) was a Polish-American librarian. She worked at the Library of Congress from 1951 to 1989 and was responsible for assembling there the largest collection of Polish material in the United States. Biography
Michigan and Radio Free Europe. She also volunteered at the Library of Congress, reviewing its Polish collection. In 1960, she married Halford L. Hoskins, a scholar who taught at American University, John Hopkins University and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He was also a senior Specialist in Foreign Relations at the Library of Congress.
