     Download the java parser from https://javaparser.org/

     You'll have to write some code. This code will invoke the parser... it will return you a CompilationUnit:

     InputStream in = null; CompilationUnit cu = null; try { in = new SEDInputStream(filename); cu = JavaParser.parse(in); } catch(ParseException x) { // handle parse exceptions here. } finally { in.close(); } return cu;

     Note: SEDInputStream is a subclass of input stream. You can use a FileInputStream if you want.

     You'll have to create a visitor. Your visitor will be easy because you're only interested in methods:

     public class MethodVisitor extends VoidVisitorAdapter { public void visit(MethodDeclaration n, Object arg) { // extract method information here. // put in to hashmap } }

     To invoke the visitor, do this:

     MethodVisitor visitor = new MethodVisitor(); visitor.visit(cu, null);-

     In the java world we mostly speak, due to the purpose, of obfuscation (even if in my opinion the impact on application file size can be useful, I used it a lot on Android applications a few years ago).

     The best java obfuscator is probably Progard. Like all of them, it can reduce all (non exported) class and/or variable names to just a letter, which is part of the obfuscation as well as part of a minification.

     You will have to decompile the bytecode afterwards if you want to show some java.

     For the Run/Debug configuration that you have been using to Remote Debug, have you followed these steps :

     If so, can you post a snapshot of the Run Configuration ?

     What I have usually done with a Remote Debug run configuration is Add Source as Java Projects to the Source tab on the Run/Debug configuration. Thus to add a project called so, I would proceed as follows :

     Please install Java JDK (Java Developer Kit), which is not the same as Java JRE (Java Runtime Environment).

     The Java JDK contains the Java source code.

     And you'd better to use an IDE (Integrated Development Environment) such as Eclipse or NetBeans to develop Java programs.

     You can look for the java code via the IDE tool.
