The issue is whether Wikipedia jazz and fusion editors agree as a matter of consensus to move this material into an article for a historically valid but no longer used genre. I personally believe this should be done, because "jazz fusion" is a demonstrably different music form than it was during its first incarnation with Miles and his alumnae.
