Nestled in the mountains of the South East Coast, Maya King Waterfall is one of the most photographed in Belize. Made of two cascading falls, Maya King is a beauty to behold, especially in the ‘rainy’ season when the water gushes over the rocks, nature’s best shower-head!
While Belize has many picturesque falls, the tallest within Central America, the Maya King waterfalls are especially notable. While you can go for a swim, you can also stand under the rushing waters in a form of meditation or just use the natural rock sides as a seat to relax and take in the full view.
Fun place to zipline, river tube over small rapids, and take a dip beneath a beautiful waterfall! The guides were super helpful and fun! William and Freddy were a blast to tube with!

Feb 27, 2023 · Crisp, cold, and clean; this waterfall provides a refreshing place to swim as well as ample parking, toilets and changing rooms, picnic tables, and a huge covered seating area. Mere minutes from the junction at the top of the Peninsula, on the Southern Highway, is Mayan Adventure World.
Sep 30, 2022 · This amazing tiered waterfall sits on private property and part of Mayan World adventures, which also provides horse rides, ATV tours, zip lines, rappelling and river tours. We enjoyed the falls for 2 hours and did the one hour ATV tour, which was perfect for us rather than the waterfall ATV tour because we wanted more time alone at falls.
