Oct 25, 2022 · Johann Kaspar was a doctor ("Wundarzt"), a military officer, and since 1775 the director of the ducal gardens, in the service of the Duke of Württemberg. For this reason the family had to move many times. He passed away in 1796 in Schloss Solitude and was buried at the cemetery in Gerlingen. Sources
