John Patrick Addis (May 1950 – October 2006) was an American law enforcement officer, parental child kidnapper, suspected domestic abuser, prime suspect in the murders of two women and fugitive from justice.
Laura, along with her two children, who are believed to have been fathered by Addis, were found murdered in their home in Chiapas, Mexico. The children were ages four and seven. Mexican authorities found fake identification cards and documents belonging to John Addis in the home.
