Gallagher came up with the idea of making a really little gun to shoot the .41 Special by starting with a Ruger Three-Screw Single-Six. A New Model will not work as the enlarging of the loading port area to accept larger cartridges cuts into the transfer bar safety.
86. Location. Miami, FL. John Gallagher called yesterday in response to my email and telephone call. He was very cordial and apologized for not responding sooner but said he had been working full time for a week or so remodeling and enlarging his shop. He hopes to be back in full operation by the first of next week.

May 18, 2015 · Update: Got back my .357mag and .44mag stainless steel Blackhawks today from John Gallagher, a "neighbor" (within 60 miles or so) of my brother in Alabama. I hand-delivered the guns and the parts (was visiting from California in August), and he converted both guns to Bisley.
