Blackboard. Blackboard serves as a virtual classroom for all John Jay Online students. Professors typically use Blackboard to post course related documents, communicate with students, and post grades. Students can interact with their professors and other students on Blackboard, post assignments, participate in discussions and so much more!

The LMS is accessed using your CUNY Login credentials, also used for other CUNY applications, such as CUNYfirst and Degreeworks. John Jay College will use the Blackboard LMS until the end of the Spring 2024 semester, when all John Jay courses will switch to D2L’s Brightspace LMS.
