Nov 11, 2016 · Jug Face is written and directed by 37 year old Chad Crawford Kinkle, who drew on his own observations of rural life in Savannah in making the film. Kinkle is a self-confessed horror fan; both Jug Face and the interview that follows reveal his deep understanding of the genre.
Anyway, Jug Face is backwoods minimalist folk horror done right. Acting and setting is well done for a low budget, and there is an air of malice that infects every scene.
