Mar 10, 2009 · For a more serious reply - the kalisto I wouldn't trust, because it's walmart junk. The second link, however, is made by The Travel Hammock, now known as Grand Trunk. They post on this forum and at least seem reasonably reputable. However, the Travel Hammock ultra light model is only 9'6" long, just a touch shorter than the walmart model.

Jan 26, 2010 · I currently use a Kalisto hammock form Wal-Mart, but plan to upgrade to a BB by spring. All my current questions pertain to my current hammock. Question #1: I just ordered a Winter Yeti and am wondering if I will need to modify my hammock at all to use the Yeti.
hey heavy G, I am 6'1" and around 370, the blackbird is a pleasure to sleep in. I have used the Kalisto hammocks also, but they were a little narrow for me. The traveller form warbonnet would also be a good choice( my next hammock ), but only if bugs aren't an issue. As far as your sleeping bag, you should have something under you for insulation.
