In 2020 Kansas City experienced 816 main breaks, a 55-percent decrease in eight years. Since the WMR Program began we’ve replaced more than 200 miles of water main. We’re working hard to rebuild Kansas City. Fewer water main breaks mean increased service reliability and fewer disruptions for our customers.
No Same Day Requests for move in/out of service. KC Water requires a minimum of 24 hours to process requests. This excludes Saturday/Sunday and all City observed holidays. If you are an existing KC Water customer, please Login to start new service or make changes to your existing service.
Nov 1, 2022 · Water bills can be paid online or in person at City Hall (414 E. 12th St.) or at the Water Services Department (4800 E. 63rd St.) using cash, check or credit card. Payments are also accepted by mail (check only). Water bill inquiries and payments can also be made through an automated voice response system 24 hours per day by calling 816-513-0567.
