In September 2022, it was revealed that the actress had gotten a restraining order in 2011 against her and Sam's daughter, Cleo Rose Elliott, after she allegedly stabbed her repeatedly.
In 2011, Ross filed a restraining order against her then 26-year-old daughter, claiming that Cleo repeatedly stabbed her in the arm with scissors, and threatened to kill her.
