Kathleen Freeman was an American character actress, best remembered for her role as a voice teacher in the 1952 film ‘Singing in the Rain’. Freeman died in 2001; at the time of her death, she was a voice actress on the show As Told by Ginger and working in the stage musical of The Full Monty. That’s a modern life and a modern death.
