About Keith Johnson. Raised in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, Keith developed an early interest in horticulture when he learned at the age of 7 that he was related to Johnny Appleseed on his mother's side. Permaculture was, thus, inevitable. Today he works and lives with Peter Bane at their home in Bloomington Indiana.
