May 3, 2024 · Well, from what I read Sugimori only designed the starters and maybe another handful of Pokémon I forgot in generation V; other artists designed the rest. Of course, for the final art, Sugimori drew them in his style. Still, like others stated, his death should be(and we all hope it is) farfetch'd, so no need to worry.
