Shuttle Discovery launching from Pad 39A on STS-60, February 3, 1994. Shuttle Atlantis is moved to Pad 39A for the 1990 launch of STS-36. The Space Shuttle Atlantis ( STS-129) is seen on launch pad 39A at the NASA Kennedy Space Center shortly after the rotating service structure was rolled back on November 15, 2009.
