Feb 20, 2016 · Kenneth Gamet wrote it and it’s supposed to be based on a Zane Grey novel. Gamet was capable of good and not-quite-so-good Western work: he did a lot of Randolph Scott oaters and several were really quite classy, especially the outstanding Coroner Creek (based on a Luke Short story).
