Many famous actors have career defining roles. Mark Hamill has two, fitting his initial live-action career then resurgence as a voice actor. He'll always be best known as Luke Skywalker.
Sure, the fights are cartoony and there's a lot of gadgets, but that doesn't make it any less fun. Plus, this iteration uses lots of Joker gas, and that's always a win. And, this Joker was responsible for driving that detective mad and turning him into Clayface. That's some heavy subject matter for a kid show.
