Styles. Several styles of Khmer writing are used for varying purposes. The two main styles are âksâr chriĕng (literally "slanted script") and âksâr mul ("round script"). Âksâr khâm ( អក្សរខម ), or Akson khom ( อักษรขอม ), an antique style of the Khmer script as written in Uttaradit, Thailand.
