You may not want to hear this particular tidbit, but this week marks the 25th Anniversary of the Kids' WB programming block that began on September 9, 1995!

For close to a decade, on The WB (and then briefly on The CW), Kids' WB dazzled and delighted '90s youths with a cool array of animation, delivering at least a dozen instant classics that still hold up today. After a few years on the air, Kids' WB struck gold with an English dub of the anime series Pokémon (and then other anime like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Cardcaptors), but the slate's bread and butter was still its Warner Bros. originals - ranging from Animaniacs to Tiny Toon Adventures to Batman Beyond.

Based on the DC superhero team featuring Robin, Starfire, Raven. Cyborg, and Beast Boy, Teen Titans was an acclaimed powerhouse series that debuted on both Kids' WB and Cartoon Network. Two full seasons aired on Kids' WB and the series was so popular that, after it ended its four-season run, a fifth season was ordered for Cartoon Network. The show ...

With a Hulu revival on the way (slated to premiere November 20), beloved series Animaniacs, from Warner Bros. Animation and Spielberg's Amblin Television, featured a variety of different segments and characters, including the Warner siblings Yakko, Wakoo and Dot. The original voice cast included Rob Paulsen, Jess Harnell, Tress MacNeille, Maurice L...

Animianiacs spinoff Pinky and Brain, featuring the voices of Rob Paulsen and Maurice LaMarche, centered on two genetically enhanced laboratory mice inside the Acme Labs research facility. Brain, an arrogant schemer, and Pinky, a sweet goofball, attempted to "take over the world" on multiple occasions, much to the joy of fans and critics alike.

Though short-lived, the third collaboration between Steven Spielberg and Warner Bros. Animation, Freakazoid!, would develop a pretty big cult following over the years. As a gentle and clever Shazam! parody, Freakazoid! featured a teenage computer nerd-turned-superhero who, thanks to some cyber-antics, could combat a bizarre world of supervillains. ...

Though Tiny Toon Adventures, the first project from Spielberg and Warner Bros. Animation, had already completed its run by the time Kids' WB launched, reruns of the award-winning animated series were a morning staple of the Kids' WB block from '97-'99. Set in the fictional town of Acme Acres, the show's characters attended Acme Looniversity, a scho...

Showing us a teenage Batman in a futuristic Gotham City under the tutelage of an elderly Bruce Wayne, Batman Beyond was a totally new vision for Batman, with slick futuristic architecture, neon-tinged streets, and a new face behind the cowl. After Bruce -- who on the series was a hermit in his 70s living alone in Wayne Manor -- crosses paths with t...

Sticking with the Caped Crusader, The Batman, which began in 2004, existed within its own continuity while also borrowing famous storylines from comics, movies, and even previous animated series. It marked the first time DC Animated Universe stalwarts Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett were not handling the animated TV adventures of Bruce Wayn...

The first kids' animated series created with Adobe Flash, Mucha Lucha was set in Luchaville, a fictional Southern California town centered on lucha libre where nearly everyone in that town wore a mask and costume. Friends Rikochet, Buena Girl, and the Flea attended the Foremost World-Renowned International School of Lucha in hopes of becoming big s...

Johnny Test was an 11-year-old suburban troublemaker who was frequently used as a guinea pig by his super-genius tween twin sisters, Susan and Mary, for their various experiments and inventions in their laboratory filled with highly advanced technology. Netflix has ordered two seasons of a Johnny Test revival, along with a an hour-long special.
