King Kong (1933) was a classic and it can not be beaten by any remakes. Although this remains true, I find this to be an all time fantastic remake. I love the silver back Gorilla design and Kong just looks off the CHAIN!!! The film has a really slow start but the arrival to Skull Island is when things get real.
