- Mike Judge - Hank Hill / Boomhauer. Mike Judge himself voices Hank on King Of The Hill, a man who defines himself by his job as a propane salesman. Hill is old-fashioned to a fault, and much of the humor of the series is derived from how out of touch he is with the modern world.
- Kathy Najimy - Peggy Hill. Hocus Pocus star Kathy Najimy voices Peggy on King Of The Hill, Hank's wife and Bobby's mother. Peggy is a Spanish teacher despite being terrible with the language and a running gag involves her shame with her size 16 feet.
- Pamela Adlon - Bobby Hill. Better Things' Pamela Adlon voices Hank's lazy, oddball son Bobby. A big theme on the show is Hank's disconnection from Bobby, with the two having completely different personalities and ways of thinking.
- Brittany Murphy - Luanne Platter. The late Brittany Murphy voiced Luanne on King of The Hill, Peggy's niece who comes to live with the family after her parent's break-up.
