punk more than adhering to any particular political ethos is really just about inclusivity and against bullshit authority. Those two things by nature make it ally with left-wing causes on an almost 1:1 ratio, but I contend that’s more of a de facto relationship. In a vacuum punk doesn’t have to have any sort of political ideology.
