Back when Ace Ventura came out, we had nowhere near the coverage we have today - something like that COULD have gone unnoticed.* But, if I remember the movie correctly, the laces were out. *Disclaimer: I'm basing this on European soccer matches of the time - Handegg might have had more than 2 cameras :)
