The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles. LACMA is on Museum Row, adjacent to the La Brea Tar Pits (George C. Page Museum). LACMA was founded in 1961, splitting from the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science and Art.

LACMA is located in Hancock Park, in 30 acres situated at the center of Los Angeles, which also contains the La Brea Tar Pits and Museum and the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. The park is open 6 am to 10 pm. The pedestrian gate on the corner of Fairfax Avenue and 6th Street is open 6 am to sunset every day.
