If it’s full, resort to street parking around Geary. This area is a popular tourist area, so make sure to not leave valuables in your car as break-ins sometimes happens.

It offers stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Marin Headlands, and the city skyline. The Coastal trail is also full of hidden secrets, like secluded beaches, abandoned shipwrecks, and old army batteries.
Dec 22, 2022 · The basic loop trail is 3 miles, which you could easily cover in an hour. However, this guide recommends detours, scenic lookouts and memorials. If you do all of the stops suggested below, it you will cover ~4.5 miles and it will take 2.5-3 hours. This is a loop trail so you can start and end at nearly any point on the hike.
