Jun 21, 2022 · Lapvona was an extremely strange and thought-provoking novel; I didn't expect anything less. In my opinion, it is among Ottessa Moshfegh’s best work. Lapvona is a meditation - albeit a messy and absurd one - on human behavior. The narrative focuses on a rotating cast of characters - all unlikable, complex, and isolated in their own way.
