Sam Jarrad is a bounty hunter turned sheriff of Willow, Colorado and Jess Harper has become a man with a price on his head for killing Blake Wilkie. Slim Sherman arrives in Laramie to buy supplies and finds the town pretty much empty due to rumors of a gold strike in Cherry Creek.
