Completed by Ange-Jacques Gabriel in 1768, the new palace on the Trianon estate was named the Petit Trianon to distinguish it from the existing Marble Trianon, which then became known as the Grand Trianon.
The Petit Trianon (French pronunciation: [pəti tʁijanɔ̃]; French for "small Trianon") is a Neoclassical style château located on the grounds of the Palace of Versailles in Versailles, France. It was built between 1762 and 1768 during the reign of King Louis XV of France .

Welcome to Trianon. The Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon and the Queen's Hamlet are open every day except Mondays from 12 pm to 6.30 pm (April to October) or from 12 pm to 5.30 pm (November to March). This visit requires a Passport ticket or a Trianon and Marie-Antoinette's Estate ticket (which you can purchase online or directly on site).
