Lee J. Cobb was an American actor that portrayed William F. Kinderman in the The Exorcist. His Lieutenant Kinderman, though somewhat less hard-boiled, is very reminiscient of his Inspector Koch in "Johnny O'Clock" (1947) in appearance, demeanor and style.
