Feb 3, 2007 · Dozier is every bit a central architect of soul music as is James Brown, Willie Mitchell, Gamble and Huff and Motown's stable of geniuses. For a clearer picture of Dozier's brilliance, I suggest listening to his self-titled CD "Lamont," 1980's "Working On You" and his late-70's CDs "Bittersweet" and "Peddlin' Music On The Side."
