Biographical / Historical. Lesley Frost Ballantine (1899-1983), an author of children's books and lecturer on English literature, and was the only surviving child of the poet Robert Frost, who had five children. She formerly lived in Manhattan, and moved to Fairfield in 1980.
These papers consist of items collected by Clifford and Gladys Lyons in the course of their friendship with Robert Frost. They include handwritten copies of poems by Frost, correspondence with him and with his daughter, Lesley Frost Ballantine, and his granddaughter, Lesley Francis Zimic.
