Not quite true. Yes Lincoln was supposed to have a storyline where he and Octavia travelled to visit Luna on her rig in season 3. However when season 2 aired and Jason found out how popular Lexa was, he 'begged' AMC to let him borrow Alycia for season 3 (she was already under contract to them to make FTWD), cancelled the Lincoln/Octavia storyline and went with the Clexa storyline instead.
