Short answer: No. Long answer: The sheer amount of trains across the country and privacy of the railroads would make such a tracker very difficult. Individual railroads offer freight trackers for customers similar to UPS/FedEx, but that is not public information.
Is there an app that shows train (freight and/or passenger) locations and destination using gps? Basically the rail equivalent of Flightradar24 etc. Would be neat to see a train go by and be able to know where it’s coming from, where it’s going, loco info etc. Thanks!
