We are Steffen and Tino from Loving New York. We have been to the Big Apple more than 20 times and have even lived in the city for a period of time.
- The City That Never Sleeps. To be honest, this statement about NYC couldn’t be more true and one of the main reasons I loved living in NYC. Feel hungry at 2 AM?
- No Car is Needed in NYC. Don’t like driving, well NYC is the place for you! You absolutely do NOT need a car when living in NYC. In fact, I highly advise against it.
- Close to Major Airports. When it comes to major airports, I didn’t realize how lucky I was to live in NYC until I moved to Raleigh, NC. When you live in NYC, you have the option of Laguardia, JFK, and Newark as major airports.
- There is Always Something Going On. It is no joke when I say there is always something going on in New York City. From parades and night markets to movies in the park and new art galleries.
- Diversity. One of the many pros and cons of living in New York City its insane diversity! Just walk around the not-so-mean-streets of NYC and you’ll see people from hundreds of different backgrounds all talking, working and hanging out together.
- Food. When you think NYC, I bet you think of food. After all, anyone who’s ever traveled to this great city has brought with them the divine food of their super cool homeland.
- It’s famous for a reason – landmarks! Central Park. The Empire State Building. Coney Island. Grand Central Station. The Statue of freakin’ Liberty! C’mon people, you all know the list goes on and on!
- History. As far as the pros and cons of living in New York City go, one of the biggest things in its favor is the history. Especially since this is one of the oldest settlements in the United States.
