Dec 31, 2021 · The image below is out of the "2022 Tow Guide" which I finally found online. It confirms the Max Tow no longer includes any of that. There's officially no point me getting the Trailer Tow package, and the extra $2,000 for the Max Tow is not worth it just to get the 9.75" gear set instead of the 8.8".
Jul 12, 2021 · Tow package only has Class IV receiver hitch $350. other stickers i have looked up on other vehicles detailed the 240 alternator etc. I enter the vin on the link above and it does show a 240 alternator 700 amp battery. It would be nice to know if there are labels somewhere with the build codes on it. Thanks.
May 15, 2001 · The 2020 included most of the things that the trailer tow package includes so the dealer only had to install the hitch. I'm not positive on that as I didn't spend a lot of time researching the 20. For 21 the class 3 tow package includes everything incl. Select shift. My main reason for getting the trailer package was for select shift.

Jun 14, 2021 · Even with the factory tow package the Traverse is rated for a maximum loaded tow load of 5,000 lbs and so that would mean a trailer with a dry weight of 3,500 lbs for safe towing.
