May 15, 2001 · The 2020 included most of the things that the trailer tow package includes so the dealer only had to install the hitch. I'm not positive on that as I didn't spend a lot of time researching the 20. For 21 the class 3 tow package includes everything incl. Select shift.
Oct 27, 2022 · Rated close to the same as the F150 3.5 L EcoBoost. Seems that the engine was introduced in 2019 as a "clean sheet" between GM and Isuzu/Opel but found there are some issues still going on for the engine. The people towing with them are pleased and report good fuel economy both loaded and unloaded.
Nov 30, 2022 · AWD has been standard on all trims since the 2021 model year and on the RTL-E and Black Edition trims since the 2017 model year. It was optional on the RT, RTS, Sport, RTL, and RTL-T trims from the 2017-2020 model years. FWD models are rated to tow 3,500 lbs. AWD models are rated to tow 5,000 lbs.
Mar 5, 2021 · Posts: 214. I have a 2020 F150 with tow package. When hooked up to my snowmobile trailer with the aluminum hitch & ball, I get the same intermittent messaging. My Sync goes blank and is non functional or has any display until the vehicle is completely stopped then the back up camera goes on.
Dec 31, 2021 · The image below is out of the "2022 Tow Guide" which I finally found online. It confirms the Max Tow no longer includes any of that. There's officially no point me getting the Trailer Tow package, and the extra $2,000 for the Max Tow is not worth it just to get the 9.75" gear set instead of the 8.8".
Mar 6, 2023 · Hooked up the WDH and the drop was only about 3/4 of an inch. I actually set up the WDH with the tongue jack supporting the front then, I bring it all the way up once the WDH is set. Helps in setting the torsion bars and getting the chains from the bars to the trailer set up set where they need to be.
