Lord Byng Secondary School is a public secondary school located in the West Point Grey neighbourhood on the west side of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It opened in 1925 and was named in honour of the then Governor General of Canada, Julian Byng, 1st Viscount Byng of Vimy.

The school officially opened in 1925 and was named in honor of Julian Hedworth George Byng, the Lord Byng of Vimy, a hero of Vimy Ridge and the Governor General of Canada at the time.

A temporary wooden building opened on Lord Kitchener’s ground in September 1924, with the official opening of the new building on March 12, 1925.
