Apr 26, 2022 · In 1313, Ludwig became sole Duke of Bavaria. Elected LUDWIG King of Germany at Frankfurt-am-Main 20 Oct 1314, crowned at Aachen 25 Nov 1314. He deprived his brother Rudolf I of the Palatinate 1314, and forced him to abdicate in his favour 1317 from which time Ludwig governed all the territories alone. Crowned King of Italy at Milan 31 May 1327.
