The World Cube Association governs competitions for mechanical puzzles that are operated by twisting groups of pieces, commonly known as 'twisty puzzles'. The most famous of these puzzles is the Rubik's Cube, invented by professor Rubik from Hungary.
Jul 13, 2022 · This past weekend, some of the fastest solvers of the Rubik’s Cube gathered in Toronto, Canada, to compete in the World Cube Association (WCA) Rubik’s North American Championship, the largest speedcubing competition since the pandemic. Local speedcuber Luke Garrett placed third in the classic 3×3 event.
Oct 15, 2021 · Luke is 15 years old, he is an amazing speed cuber from the U.S. and now ranked 9th for 3x3 in the world! He started cubing in 2015, and had his first competition in 2017. By now, he has been to 67 WCA competitions and earned 64 gold, 44 silver, and 40 bronze medals.

World records: Zayn Khanani Skewb 0.81 (single) and Skewb 1.73 (average). Asian records: Antonio Kam (甘浩東) 3x3x3 Blindfolded 17.47 (single).
