Nov 16, 2023 · Progress at East High School. November 16, 2023. With the current phases of construction almost complete, crews are working hard to wrap up renovations in the classroom areas on the ground floor and first floor this week. The first-floor renovations are nearly complete in the new library, classrooms, and office spaces.

East High School. Madison East High School is one of four comprehensive four-year high schools in Madison, Wisconsin. It was established in 1922, making it the oldest public high school still operating in Madison. The school mascot is "Peppy Purgolder", an animal resembling a feline. Madison East athletes compete in the WIAA Big Eight Conference.

Project: East High School Auditorium Renovation – Madison, Wisconsin The existing auditorium heating and ventilation unit generates unacceptable noise levels in the auditorium. This noise is a combination of fan noise and velocity noise. The unit was installed in 1970 and at 38 years of age it is very near its expected service life of 40 years.
