Magdalene College is a constituent college of the University of Cambridge. The college was founded in 1428 as a Benedictine hostel, in time coming to be known as Buckingham College, before being refounded in 1542 as the College of St Mary Magdalene. As one of the older Colleges within the University of Cambridge, Magdalene accommodation has been built and acquired over several centuries, and is therefore incredibly varied in terms of size, age, and facilities – there is no average Magdalene room. We offer accommodation to both undergraduates and postgraduates, in a variety of locations and prices, and no accommodation is more than a 5-minute walk from the College.
