  1. The Dias Law Lecture and Lunch 2024. Mickey Dias was a much loved Law Fellow from 1955 until his death in 2009. Magdalene has instituted an annual lecture in his memory and we are delighted to announce that the first Dias Lecture will be given by Mickey’s daughter, Dame Julia Dias DBE (the Hon. Mrs Justice Dias), on 15 June 2024.

  3. The College has its origins in the year 1428 and has an eclectic mix of buildings. There has been a continuous tradition of academic study on the site for nearly 600 years, Magdalene admits roughly 100 undergraduate students each year for all courses offered by the University of Cambridge, and roughly 80 postgraduate students.

    Courses. Magdalene College admits students to study all academic degree subjects offered at Cambridge. There are over 30 undergraduate courses at Cambridge. Courses at Cambridge cover over 65 subject areas allowing students to specialise their interests and direction of study.
